YRC Worldwide will
issue shares to pay interest on $70M in debt.

08.02.2010 - YRC Worldwide Inc.
plans to issue as many as 4.9 million shares of stock to pay the
interest on $70 million in debt it sold this spring. The Overland
Park-based trucking company (Nasdaq: YRCW) said in a securities filing
Monday that the semiannual interest payment is due on Aug. 15. It sold
the convertible senior notes in a private placement to pay off earlier
rounds of debt coming due this year. >>>

Arkansas Best 2nd-Qtr Loss Shrinks

losses in half, the trucking company reported Wednesday, with
shipments picking up as the economy rebounds. The
company said it's continuing to see a "modest"
improvement in prices, but it still needs overall business and the

are up 10 cents, or 88%, 3 cents, or 30%, at 15 21
cents, have strengthened all day long, after the
company this morning announced before market’s open it would
swing from a Q1 pre-tax loss of $53 million to a Q2 pre-tax profit

07.12.2010 - NEW YORK (AP) -- YRC Worldwide expects to
report second quarter earnings of $35 million to $45 million
before taxes, debt and amortization, the trucking company said
Monday, as shipments begin to pick up.

The company forecast excludes the YRC Logistics
segment, which it sold last month. When including an expected loss
from discontinued operations, it expects to report second quarter
EBITDA earnings of $24 million to $36 million. >>>

reported that President Barack Obama's administration will soon
announce its plan to reopen the U.S. border to Mexican trucks and
end a dispute that prompted Mexico to slap duties last year on
$2.4 billion worth of U.S. goods.

Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood told lawmakers "We will
be announcing it very soon". |
